Day 5 - The Last Day

Well today was the last day of site seeing. We started the day off by going to Mission San Juan Bautista and then headed off to Bonfante Gardens in Gilroy - the garlic capitol of the world. At this park they have these trees called “Circus Trees” The guy that made them has passed away and no one knows how to duplicate this process. While at the park Ronnie had to get some garlic fries for lunch and I wouldn’t go near him for the rest of the afternoon. It was 101 degrees while at the park so we had to keep cool with a spray bottle that has a fan on it. When we left the park we had to go and buy some more garlic to bring home, which Ronnie isn’t allowed to use when I am at home. When I had all of the garlic smell I could take we headed off to see two more missions, Mission Soledad & Mission San Miguel. The San Miguel Mission was closed due to an earthquake, most of the walls were being held up by 2 x 4’s. Our final destination for some sleep before the long ride home was Morro Rock.
