Our Children's Pastor, Jessica and her husband Will, at our church gave birth to a baby girl Charlotte last week. She was born at 28 weeks due to Jessica's watering breaking. They were able to keep Charlotte (aka Charlie) in the womb long enough to give her steroid shots to develop her lungs. The Doctors decided to perform a c-section because they weren't to happy with the amount of movement Charlie was making, she was born on Wednesday at 2 pounds 8ozs and 14.5 inches long. Both Jessica and Charlie are doing great! Charlie has to stay in the NICU for a few weeks but everyone has described her as feisty and she is already breathing on her own. Hopefully she will be able to come home early. Please pray for Charlie and Jessica as they are both recovering and that Charlie will be able to come home early.
