Growing Up

Today at church Kate was absolutely cracking me up, everywhere we went she was the little greeter. She had the biggest smile on her face and would wave and say HI to everyone! When we were leaving her classroom she waved to one of her friends and actually said "Bye Carson" me and the other mom were shocked that she just said goodbye like it was no big deal. Her teacher told me she was talking a lot in class and then I started thinking, this is my kid growing up, she will grow up with these kids in her classroom and they will be her friends that we go to lunch with and have over when she is sitting in church begging us to let her friends come over after church. I just can't believe how fast this is happening, I feel like I just put her in the Nursery and now she is waving and saying goodbye to her friends as we leave. I am really excited that she is forming these friendships but at the same time I really miss my baby. Being a mom really is emotional!
