Details of Paris

We are back from looking around Paris, Texas to see the area that we will be moving too. It definitely is different from Cali! Some of the weird things that are allowed there or that we saw were people riding in the back of pick-up trucks, people driving motorcycles without helmets, starbucks was the local hang out for bikers, dead armadillos on the road, the Chili's was run by high school kids oh and they still have non-smoking and smoking in most of the places there, there was a gas station that had a sign that read "Redneck Owned". I know that isn't way crazy stuff it is just really different from were I grew up! There is a beautiful huge lake 20 minutes away from town. We drove so much there, we actually went all the way to Arkansas and Okalahoma just to check it out. The actual town of Paris is really old but they do have some awesome antique stores with an old soda fountain, which is really fun! Here are some pictures of our time in town.
