Weekend in Dallas
This weekend we headed down to Dallas to hang out with our friend Christina and get away for my birthday. We had so much fun! The weekend started with Ronnie bringing me flowers and a new cartridge for my cricut, so cute! Then we made the drive to Grapevine to meet Christina and had a lunch at an amazing Barbecue place at the Forth Worth Stockyards! When we were done eating lunch an old steam engine train came into the station which is in the middle of all of the shops and Kate started screaming to see the train. It was so cute! After the train we got to see a Cattle Drive. It was so fun to watch Kate's face as the cows were coming down the street with the cowboys, she thoroughly enjoyed it. We stayed at the Gaylord Resort where Christina works and let me tell you, that place is AMAZING! It is like a theme park inside the hotel, they have the whole place decked out in Texas. There is the San Antonio River walk and The Alamo and then The Hills. We took plenty of pictures but they don't really do it justice, if you are ever in the Dallas area I would totally tell you to stay there. Kate thought the place was amazing too and just ran around everywhere. We had a great time! Enjoy the pictures.
