Favorite Part of My House

I recently found the blog An Iowa Mom from the Bloggy Carnivals and I love to read it! She is super funny and I love the stories about her family. So this week she is asking questions for her readers and today's was "What room in the house or part of the house is your favorite?" Well since I just moved to a completely new state and we are renting it was kind of hard to pick a room that is my favorite because the house isn't exactly the way I would want it and I don't really want to put the time into the house to make it that way since we hopefully won't be living here that long. So I choose a favorite part of the the room and that is the fireplace mantel. I have pictures and a few decor items on it. The smaller pictures are of my Great Grandmother and the bigger are pictures of the city of Paris. The mantel to me kind of has a past and future theme, at least in my dreams! :) I would love one day to go to Paris and eat the food and stroll down the busy streets. Doesn't that sound like so much fun? I know that I just moved to a city call Paris the only problem is that it is in Texas and not France. And the Eiffel tower here has a cowboy hat on it, not to romantic! Anyways here is the the picture of my mantel.
