Two Years Old

Kate is two today and I really can't believe how fast that has happened! We celebrated her birthday on Saturday, she started the day off by waking up to the living room full of balloons (thanks chelle for that idea) and then had chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast. After her nap we took her to Burger King for lunch and then we were off to the park to play. When she looked like she was about to fall asleep on the swings we headed home for presents and cake! We actually had Linda on the computer watching Kate unwrap the presents, it was pretty funny to have the only guest at the the "party" on the computer. :) It was such a fun day and I loved how Kate totally got that it was her birthday. She ripped into her presents and got so excited about each one, every time she opened a present she would forget about the others there because she just wanted to play with the new toys. Kate has really grown up so much, I can carry on a conversation with her and we talk and play all day, it really is the best to be her mom. :) Her favorite thing to do right now is go to Church and I pray that will always be a passion of hers, she comes out of there wanting to sing, it is so cute! I can't wait to see what this year holds for her, she is definitely not my baby anymore but I do love this age!
