Overwhelming Joy

I know I haven't posted in awhile but nothing much has been going on around here. I did recently start going to the Women's Bible Study at our Church and it has been so fantastic! We are going thru the Bible in a year and I am so excited to make 2009 a year that is filled with learning more about God. I also started serving in the youth and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I have always just done kids ministry because that is where I am most comfortable and I really felt like it was time for a change. The youth group here has such an amazing heart for the Lord and I can't wait to see what God does in their lives this year. I am so happy that the Lord brought us to this Church, we have learned so much already. So my days here are slowly getting filled up with Church activites which is a nice change, I loved the time period moving out here that I was able to stay home and spend my days playing with Kate with nothing else going on but I am so excited for this next chapter in my life! Kate is growing up so fast and we are enjoying playing with her and laughing at the funny things she says. We tried potty training last week but I felt so bad because it was so cold here every time she sat down on the potty she would start shaking, so we will postpone that one until it is a little warmer. I love that you can already see the difference of us living here. When I ask Kate if she wants to go bye she says "yes to see cows and stars":)
