Redecorating!

Since my last post we have been busy here getting ready for a full house. Ronnie's brother Mike and his friend Daniel are here working with Ronnie in the warehouse for the next month or so and my family comes for a week at the end of the month. So much fun! Since we were going to have a full house we decided to move Kate's room since it has the only guest bathroom and make that the office/playroom and then move Kate into the room that was the office. I also decided that I wanted to paint a wall in our room which was yellow and red. Two nice colors just not the look that I like and not on the same wall, kind of weird. So I painted the wall gray and I had actually found these really cool shutters at an antique store that was closing down this past summer. I scored them for only 20 bucks! I painted those red and put them behind our rod iron bed the finishing look is below. I completely forgot to take before pictures so all you see is the semi finished product. I still want to get black velvet ribbon and hang small oval frames with black and white pictures from each shutter with the ribbon but until then I love it! I feel like the first time since we have been married I finally have a bedroom that I love.
